PHYSIOPATHOLOGY OF NEURONS AND GLIAL CELLS IN CULTURE WITH FOCUSS ON THE CONTROL OF CELL VOLUME. Our major project aims to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms subserving volume changes in experimental situations simulating those ocurring during a number of neuropathologies such as epilepsies, ischemia, hypoglycemia, hepatic encephalopathy or head trauma.
