It is a great pleasure to invite you to Puebla de Zaragoza, Mexico, to celebrate the III World Congress of Chronobiology to be held from May 5 to 9, 2011. This time the Congress is organized by the Latin American Group of Chronobiology on behalf of the World Federation of Societies on Chronobiology.
The III World Meeting of Chronobiology will be aimed at discussing how we transfer clock knowledge from the lab to our house. The subject areas will include:
• Genetic and Molecular Mechanisms of Circadian Oscillators
• Neural Network interactions in SCN clock function
• Pineal/Melatonin involvement in Circadian Rhythms and Photoperiodism
• Photic and Non-Photic Entrainment
• Sleep/Wake cycle
• Ultradian/Infradian Rhythms
• Chronotherapy and Chronopharmacology
• Modeling and Analysis
Beyond these academic areas, the challenge is to discuss the application from our current knowledge of Chronobiology to improve ecology, sustainability, life quality and human health.
